Engineering Expo

Engineering Expo is a two-day event where every engineering department gets a chance to share what their discipline does with school groups and community members! It is running from April 11-12th and is a great way to earn volunteer hours.

April General Meeting and Officer Elections

We will hold our April meeting (last meeting of the semester) on April 23rd from 6-7pm in classroom 130 at the Agricultural Engineering Laboratory, 540 Elm Dr., as usual. We will also be holding officer elections for the 2025-2026 school year at this meeting. Nominations are due April 13th at 11:59pm. You can nominate others or yourself for any position.

AIM Student Competition Team Registration

AIM, the ASABE Annual International Meeting, is a great opportunity to meet knew people in agricultural and biological engineering and learn more about emerging research and work being done in the industry. The event includes a variety of opportunities for students to apply for awards and scholarships and participate in competitions. More info on this facet of AIM can be found here.

Let us know if you are interested in participating in the robotics and fountain wars competitions below ASAP as teams must register by April 15th. Participants would ideally be based near Madison this summer to more easily prepare designs for competition.

CALS Week Cornhole Tournament

CALS Week is April 14-18th and to celebrate we are hosting a cornhole tournament! Join us Tuesday April 15th from 5-7pm at 540 Elm Dr. for fun, food, and prizes in this year’s tournament. All students, staff, and members of the community are welcome.
