We are incredibly excited to be hosting MRR 2025. This three-day event offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with industry leaders, tour cutting-edge facilities, and engage in professional development. The Knapp Bequest Committee has graciously granted us funds to host the 2025 Midwest Regional Rally! This $8,900 will go towards the rally that ASABE Midwest students look forward to every year, and we hope to host a fantastic weekend for everyone!

Thursday, March 6th, 2025

1:00-4:00 PM

  • Arrival of students from Midwest universities in Madison, WI
  • Check-in at the Agricultural Engineering Lab on campus
  • Pick up conference materials

6:00-9:00 PM

  • Welcome Social at 7 Iron Social
    • Enjoy sports simulators and pizza catering

Friday, March 7th, 2025

7:00 AM-12:30 PM

  • Industry Tours (Catered Boxed Lunches Provided)
    • Tour Group #1: Machinery Systems – Visit KUHN North America, a leading manufacturer of innovative agricultural machinery, and MacDon Industries, known for their advanced harvesting equipment. Students will gain insight into cutting-edge machinery design and manufacturing.
    • Tour Group #2: Food & Bioprocessing – Explore Village Hearth, a premier bakery specializing in fresh, locally sourced bread, and Sassy Cow Creamery, where students will learn about dairy processing, quality control, and sustainable farming practices.
    • Tour Group #3: Natural Resources/Environmental – Visit the Dane County Sanitary Landfill, which showcases modern waste management and environmental sustainability efforts, followed by Statz Bro Dairy, a large-scale dairy operation utilizing advanced technologies in herd management and milk production.
    • Tour Group #4: Biology – Tour MilliporeSigma, a global leader in life science research and biotechnology solutions, and Invenra, an innovative biotech company specializing in antibody discovery and therapeutic development.
